Project: Music for the World, the artists and their contribution

Congratulations for your Projects!  Through them you have reflected on how music can be very inspiring as an art for other musicians and to help others in many ways; lyrics can help raise awareness on many important social and individual matters and it can be a way to help positive change in our lives.

I’m very happy to share your work here:

Billie Joe Armstrong, by Zoe Macaya and Plácido Meneses

Duki, by Lucas Massih

Camila Cabello, by Micaela Olguín

Carol G, by Valeria Tello Ocampo

Snoop Dogg, by Agustina Gallo, Magalí Nievas and Benjamín Vera

Our graffiti virtual gallery 2019

Congratulations for your Project! I’m very happy to share your graffiti and messages here, in our virtual gallery.

I hope you continue making more Art in your lives either you do it as a profession or as a hobby just for yourself.

There’s one definition of Art which says Art is emotion. This is my sister’s favourite definition, she’s a Teacher of Art and since she commented me about it a long time ago, I have felt it’s one of the simplest but at the same time one of the deepest definitions of Art one can think of, don’t you agree? It makes me think of this beautiful graffiti which shows Cobre’s child when he looks at his father while he is making a graffiti.

Graffiti Project

Welcome to our Visual Arts Project! This year you are going to create a virtual gallery of graffiti.

But before you start, what do you think about graffiti? Is it art or vandalism? Write your opinions in the comments.

Then look at the graffiti by these artists and choose one you like; pay attention to the style, what techniques do they use? What are their predominant colours?, what do the colours transmit? What message do the graffiti express?

Bansky, from England: outside and inside.
